DEAR GOD DID I PLAY THAT ON A C FLUTE???? GASP.... something is horribly wrong. Or wait.. maybe, maybe.. just maybe I had my C worked on by one Dr. Keith Hanlon and it came back to me in such beautiful condition that I can not put it down! Gee, this is really funny because if you had asked me I would have told you for certain that I recorded that on my alto (which is also Hanlonized!). Anyway y'all can we keep this as a dirty little secret among family here? I would hate to tarnish my reputation!!!
@hal-ide I just finally watched the Sea Tiger and WOW! I'm blown away! What a fun piece and you play it so well. Fantastic job my friend! I have one concern. Did you put your alto in the dryer because it appears to have shrunk?!?!
Hal, I’m so glad you shared the Harberg project here. It is so beautiful and it was so good to see all those people that I won’t see at NFA this year! Really touching and beautiful and well done, and just what I needed today. I also just watched the Sea Tiger and I love it!!!
Hey gang! I am really proud to share this video with you all. "The Prayer Project" with composer Amanda Harberg is a response to the cancellation of this years NFA convention... a way for may of us to get together and share what we love. I think I got invited to do this because I played a piece of mine in a composers workshop where Amanda Harberg was a panelist. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. You will no doubt recognize some pretty danged famous flute players!
